From hopelessness to honor

Founder’s Free School, South Asia (Jabed’s Story)

When you sponsor a child, you are not only changing his/her life in the present, but you are equipping him/her with the skills needed to make a long-term impact in the community. Read what one of the staff at Founder’s Free School in South Asia shared about how Jabed's* education enabled him to become a leader in his community.

Jabed’s mother died while he was a student at our school. His father remarried, but never gave him any support or concern.

Through our school, he learned study skills and received encouragement and help that allowed him to continue studying. He learned about the love of Jesus through interacting with us.

This last week, Jabed was able to finish his studies at the police academy, and he is now going to begin his career as a police officer. This is a high honor in this country.

While Jabed no longer attends Founder’s Free School, he often visits and respects his teachers who helped him through dark days.

You can help more children, like Jabed, discover and fulfill their God-given calling by providing them the opportunity to be in a healthy learning environment where they are encouraged to become all God intends. To learn more about how you can help, visit our sponsorship website.
