Director of Experiential Learning
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Director of Experiential Learning provides strategic leadership across whole-school experiential learning, curriculum-connected experiences, student agency and development, programmes and partnerships, trips and expeditions, service learning, global engagement and future-focused learning. This is an extraordinary opportunity for a passionate and experienced educational leader to shape how young people learn through experience, develop agency and engage meaningfully with their communities and the wider world, while contributing to one of Asia's leading international boarding schools.
ABOUT WOODSTOCK SCHOOL
Founded in 1854, Woodstock is an inclusive Christian international boarding school located in the Himalayan foothills of Mussoorie, India. Home to approximately 500 students representing more than 30 nationalities, Woodstock combines academic excellence with a deep commitment to whole-person education, student wellbeing, character development and community life.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree and teaching qualification, preferably in a related field
- Experience in a secondary or high school setting in a similar role
- Experience in student wellbeing, pastoral care, and behaviour management
- Relevant safeguarding and child protection training
- Relevant safety training
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with students, staff and families
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership or a related field
- Experience in an international school environment
- Experience working with boarding students or within a boarding school environment
- Experience in a leadership or coordination role within a High School
- Experience working across diverse cultural and educational contexts
