Middle Grades Humanities Teacher

A Middle Grades classroom teacher will provide instruction to middle grades students, providing a quality, international Christian education in core academic subjects.

Subjects and Classes

The teacher may be asked to teach classes such as ELA (English Language Arts), History, Christian Studies, Advisory, or an elective. 

Age Group

Instruction will be given to 7th to 8th grade students.

Time Commitment

This is a full-time position with the expectation that the teacher will be available for other duties and will work from 8 am to 4 pm on a daily basis.

Extra Responsibilities

May be asked to lead study hall or lunch duty, teach an exploratory course, and help with school events. Teacher will be required to attend all scheduled staff meetings.

Professional Requirements

A university degree in education and/or the subject area is required, and a teaching credential is preferred. The applicant must complete the ACSI Philosophy of Education requirement within three years of starting the position.
