TCK Care Coordinator for Europe

In alignment with the TeachBeyond Strategic Plan and distinctive, the mission, vision, objectives, and structure of the TCK Care Team and the arc of care for TCKs and their parents, and in partnership with supporting churches, the TCK Care Coordinator for Europe will develop and coordinate support for children of TeachBeyond members and other missionaries in Europe, networking with missionary families and those supporting missionary families (partner schools, supporting churches, colleges, etc), researching, articulating, and serving missionary family trends and needs.

Qualifications:

• BA (Education, Missions, theology, Intercultural studies desirable)  
• Demonstrated ability to anticipate needs, plan, and communicate effectively and warmly 
• Experience in intercultural, faith-based, non-profit organization  
• Cross-cultural mission experience as TCK or working with TCKs  
• Training or experience in the areas of social work/counseling/family care/behavioral services/helping services  
• Self-starter; ability to work independently, as a team player, and from a distance 
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills, ideally coupled with additional language skills (especially those relevant to European nations) 
• Working knowledge of Office 365 tools for day-to-day business, including Outlook email and calendar, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint and Word 

Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Build and lead a team of TCK Caregivers in Europe under the guidance of the TCK Care Coordinator/Global 
• Interact with TeachBeyond families, TCKs, and those who support and work with them. 
• Proactively support isolated families in Europe 
• Work with Safeguarding to promote child safety.  
• Exchange information that may mutually benefit the development of the overarching arc of care created and maintained by the TCK Care Team for TeachBeyond globally and other regional liaisons. 
• Create awareness for the TCK Care Team of individual team, TCK, and parental needs through a regular exchange of information, including presentations at TCK Care Team meetings, Teams calls with the TCK Care Coordinator, and emails. 
• Support TCKs through check ins, prayer, and more
• Participate in the TCK aspect of annual orientations and other TeachBeyond events 
• Find resources, contacts, and opportunities for professional development in order to develop expertise in the field of TCKs 
• Pursue relationships with financial and spiritual partners and sponsors 
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor 

This opportunity is a remote and support based position. Pay is based on the applicant's own ability to raise funds for their salary; paid via donor or self-support.
